Where neighbors meet and strangers easily interact, where voices are expressed and communities gather to celebrate as well as heal, a tangible realization of our collective resiliency. The need for more third places—those informal gathering spots outside the realms of home and the workplace—has become increasingly clear in today’s world of polarizing discourse and social disconnection.

We believe inclusive public spaces lie at the heart of our country and are key to strengthening the social fabric of communities. The Levitt Family Foundation has supported the activation of underused public spaces coast to coast, creating joyous, vibrant places where people connect and embrace their shared humanity.
